Drivers wanted.
Got wheels? One of the critical needs throughout the pandemic continues to be responsible, reliable volunteer drivers who can support emergency response in zero-contact deliveries of food and essentials to the most vulnerable members of our community.
Our COVID-19 Projects
Here are a few of our major projects that are supporting the pandemic response and recovery by engaging volunteers.
Peel MoVES
The Peel Mobilization of Volunteers Emergency System is our means of quickly deploying skilled volunteers to where they are most needed.
Continuum of Care
Working with several of our member organizations, we are coordinating activities to get food and essentials to the most vulnerable in our community.
Isolation to Connection
COVID-19 has exacerbated the issue of social isolation. We work with community service organizations on reaching out to isolated seniors in Peel.
Volvable
We aim to remove barriers to make volunteerism more accessible to people with different abilities because volunteering is for anyone
and all efforts are needed.
This work would not be possible without our generous supporters who value the importance of volunteers to the COVID-19 recovery.
